Suffering from Bankster Abuse

Friends, I'm in a serious pickle. I lost my job because PTSD symptoms made it impossible for me to concentrate and I have been unable to find suitable employment for 18 months. I have been without any kind of income since January and have exhausted all my resources. If not for the Affordable Care Act, I wouldn't be able to receive treatment for PTSD.

The state of California plans to sell my home because I have been unable to pay the property taxes. I am behind on my mortgage 30 days because I have no money to pay. My monthly expenses are only $500, but I have no way to make even that small amount.

The amount of money I'm trying to raise would go to pay the property taxes and catch the mortgage up, as well as pay my monthly expenses for two months. Hopefully, I will find employment or some other way of making money in that time.

I have been struggling to maintain my home since I lost my mother in 2005. She was ill with pancreatic cancer, but I didn't know that when I left graduate school to care for her. The economy went south shortly after her death and I struggled to keep my family afloat until 2008, when I experienced the first rounds of harassment from members of the gang household across the street from my home. My neighbors and I were subjected to boom car noise terrorism, threats of violence, shootings, and murder. By 2009, I was seeing a therapist because of my inability to sleep, focus, and concentrate. This is when I learned I had PTSD.

From 2009 until 2012, when I lost my job, my neighborhood was subjected to so much violence and negativity that I launched an email campaign to the County Supervisor, begging him to help get the household under control. It took over 20 emails before any type of action was taken. I had to suffer humiliation and bullying from the Supervisor's office, but at least some of the madness stopped. It has been quiet for about a year now, but who knows how long the lull will last?

That's the short of how I have come to this pass. I will update this campaign note with pictures and additional information as I am able. Nearing 60, I never expected homelessness to be a possibility in my life, but there it is. I'll close by thanking you for reading this, and I hope you'll consider helping me save my home, the home my mom brought me to when I was just 6 months old.

Good fortune to you!
