Honduras APUFRAM 2018 Mission Trip

Thank you for visiting Apufram - Waukegan's GoFundMe donation page. During our first trip in 2017, our group in partnership with Apufram Staff, Donors And Sponsors, was able to complete several projects including:
1. Replacing roof on two boarding rooms for girls ages 6-12 (El Conejo, Comayagua)
2. Replacing roof on a TVAV Room at Flores, Comayagua in partnership with TYPSA
3. Taught English classes at Guadalupe's Elementary School

During 2018, there are six projects to choose from, depending on amounts fundraised (click here for estimates submitted by APUFRAM ):
Project 1: New Classroom at Toyos, Yoro
Estimated Cost: $18,700
Project 2: New Roof on Auditorium at Toyos, Yoro
Estimated Cost: $2,130
Project 3: New Classroom at Maximiliano Kolbe, Flores, Comayagua
Estimated Cost: $18,660
Project 4: New Dormitory at Santa Ana, Flores Comayagua
Estimated Cost: $16,350
Project 5: Replace Roof at El Conejo, Comayagua
Estimated Cost: $2,800
Project 6: Remodel Main House at Toyos, Yoro
Estimated Cost: $10,100
This year we have an opportunity to travel to Honduras in June/July 2018. During this second mission trip, the goal is to fundraise enough to pick one of the projects above; the group will be working along with Apufram staff.
Your donations will go toward materials and supplies for these projects. The goal is to fundraise half of it via direct donations through gofundme and the rest will be fundraised via a group of dedicated volunteers who are working on several activities (food sales, garage sales, partnering with restaurants for shared sales, etc...). The goal is to have enough funds two weeks before the trip. Updates will be posted as we go.
*Net proceeds go directly to APUFRAM International; a 501(c)(3) which will send a tax donation letter for the net amount (net of PayPal processing fees). Donations are tax deductible as allowed per IRS regulations.
