Dear Family, Friends and Community of April Short,
If you know April, you know her incredible generosity and passion for helping others
She's the one who's always been there to support everyone, whether taking in abandoned siblings, or helping to raise her nephews as her own children for 12 years, to helping the community as both a passionate volunteer (everything from Santa Cruz AIDS Foundation to Senior Citizens Legal Services) and advocate for people's healing and health at Gateways Books & Gifts and Whole Foods. If you ever visited April at either one of these places, you know you were taken care of completely.
April needs support right now for her own healing and recovery from cancer. April was diagnosed in May 2015, and had to quit her job. She needs contributions now for food, rent and bills, as well as treatments, supplements and a trip to India that will most definitely save her life.
Anything you can do help, whether prayers. love, money, products or services, is greatly appreciated and would mean the world to this beautiful soul who has otherwise always given everything.
