April Kendrick in Houston, TX

Hello my name is Jann Lancaster; I live in the state of Georgia and April is my cousin. As you know, Hurricane Harvey devastated the state of Texas. My cousin has lost everything and while she has renter’s insurance, she like thousand of others did not have flood insurance. April’s first floor apartment was flooded with water that was waist high. My cousin lost her clothes, living room furniture, bedroom furniture, and not to mention the pictorial memories that cannot be replaced.

While we I know we cannot replace everything, we can we can help April transition toward a new start. Hurricane Harvey took April’s possessions, but it didn’t take her spirit, her smile, or her heart. Let’s help April get back some of what was lost. Let’s show her we love her, we care and while we may be geographically far apart, we are always there.
