Appling family Medical Expenses

Hey y’all. This precious family could really use our support. Early December, sweet Lincoln began showing symptoms of what seemed to be a simple virus or flu. However, his symptoms quickly worsened and he had to be taken to the hospital. After a long day at Holmes, they transported him to Orlando Children’s hospital with Pneumonia on 2/3 of his right lung. He spent over 2 weeks in the hospital recovering. He was finally released to go home only to be back in the hospital a few short days later and spending Christmas Eve there as well. Although he is now home, he still has healing to do, but is getting stronger every day. He now has to be taken to Orlando Children’s Hospital weekly for X-rays through his current recovery process.

Not only is this family facing debt piling up from an extended hospital stay, they are now faced with a weekly bill for the needed X-rays and the mileage traveling to and from Orlando (over an hour one way).

To make things even more complicated, the extra wear and tear on the family’s truck during the daily back and forth travel during Lincoln’s 2 week hospital stay caused the vehicle to break down. The vehicle is now in the shop needing almost $2000 in repairs. Also leaving them with just one vehicle.

Brittney (Lincoln’s mom) is also not able to work at this time as she is needed at home to care for her son. And also can’t risk bringing any sickness home to him.

To know this family is to love them. They are so precious, and so very loved. They are always giving back and doing for others. It’s our turn to do for them. Anything you can do will be so appreciated and such a blessing.
