My name is Ana, I was born in Venezuela who moved to the United States seven years ago. My mother who lives in Venezuela is the most adorable and lovely mother and grandmother I can ever have... since I moved to United States she has always done her best to visit me and my family... specially after I became a mom.
Recently, during the her last visit, when she came to celebrate my son’s first birthday she got sick and “long story short” my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer... according to the Doctor’s report a very aggressive cancer.
My mom is not a US resident... she is just a visitor in the United States, she lives and resides in Venezuela, but as most of you know, there is a very difficult situation in Venezuela and I cannot let her go back to her home to look for medical treatment.
The decision to stay for treatment in the United States has been challenging as well since medical treatment as an international patient is very expensive. Must to say, that all medical expenses are more expensive (higher) when you try to pay by your own...
As her daughter, it has been the biggest challenge I’ve ever gone through...
Today, I need to ask for your help to cover part of my mom’s health expenses such as: international health plan, medical expenses and medicines no covered by the the health plan, co-payments, transportation, diet, etc.
Due to Venezuela’s crisis there is not guarantee she can get the right treatment she is in need and I just cannot let her go back home...
