Aphie's Top Surgery

My name is Aphie and I am a 20 year old transgender man looking for help raising funds for top surgery. I was referred to NHS gender services in November 2018 but due to long waiting lists have yet to receive a date for my first appointment. I started hormones privately in March 2020 which has greatly improved my quality of life and mental health, however I still struggle daily with dysphoria.

This is a life saving surgery that I have needed for a very long time, and any donation towards it would mean the world to me. Besides the obvious mental struggle that comes with feeling uncomfortable in my body, I also have to wear a chest binder to flatten my chest every day which is not sustainable on a long-term basis.

I understand it is a lot to raise, and I will be saving funds myself from my job but unfortunately as a student I am only able to work part-time and most of my earnings go towards rent and general living costs. Any contribution would help me greatly, and would go towards the cost of the surgery itself, as well as travel, and any hotel stay I might need.
