Our brother is such an amazing person! When we were young, we lost our dad to pancreatic cancer. William, our oldest brother, stepped up to the plate with willingness and strength. He became a source of support and encouragement, not only to us, but also to our 6 siblings, and especially to our mom.
But truly -- out of the thousands of people that William encountered and helped whether at home, at church, or in service to our men in the military all would say the same thing: William is a pillar -- an incredible source of strength and encouragement, a beacon of light, one of the most positive people you'll ever meet.
William continues to battle with Colorectal cancer and now, after two rounds of chemo and radiation, the medical bills are stacking up.
Although William has health insurance, the deductibles and co-pays are costly. Unfortunately, insurance doesn't always agree with the doctor's treatment recommendations for William, leaving him to cover the expenses. This is a challenge since he must take unpaid work days as he is out of sick and vacation pay. Our sister-in-law retired due to physical disabilities one year ago which has already put a strain on their finances.
Now, more than ever, is our chance to help William and his family carry the cross of cancer through a financial gift, reflecting back the hope and encouragement that he has so readily given to others.
