A Pain in the Brain
My name is Danielle Kelly. In 2018, I was diagnosed with a rare condition called Pseudotumor Cerebri. It causes my body to produce too much spinal fluid and almost led me to go blind. Since that diagnosis, I have had 5 lumbar punctures, 4 blood patches, and 1 brain surgery. Unfortunately, the device placed during my last surgery, a VP Shunt, has begun to malfunction just two months after placement. I will be going under the knife at the beginning of December to get it replaced.
Every dime raised will go to helping me and my family pay for groceries, parking at the hospital, gas to get to doctors visits, and to help us stay afloat while I am out of work. If extra money is raised, it will help us pay some of my medical bills. Thank you so much in advance for helping me and my family.
