Thank you for helping support my school and classroom at Livingston Collegiate. We are currently building a new AP Comparative Government class for our rising Sophomores and we are in need of support.
Our students will be taking a rigorous college-level AP course as sophomores and we are looking to purchase textbooks to support their learning over the next year. The goal is to ensure that 100% of students enrolled in the course pass the AP assessment with a 3 or higher.
How will textbooks support that?
There is currently no curriculum for AP Comparative Government and textbooks will support all students in their understanding of college-level political theory and government concepts. More importantly, having these resources will push them to understand what it means to be a college student and the amount of work it takes to be successful in college.
While the goal of this course is to push students to earn college credit as sophomores - it is more than that. This course is about students building identity and proving that they have what it takes to be successful in college. This course is designed to teach them the skills to be ahead of their peers as they walk into their first college course.
