A note from Jillian, Judy's daughter...
My mom was diagnosed with Stage III Colon Cancer in March 2014. Judy owns England Flowers & Gifts in England, AR. She has been a local small business owner for over 30 years. Judy is one of the most selfless people I know. I have literally seen her give the shirt off her back! My mom puts everyone she knows before herself. She's involved in the community in many ways - active at England FUMC, feeding shut-ins and homeless through Stone Soup, volunteers for Carti, and supports other fundraisers for local businesses. Judy has generously given of her own time, money and talents. Now is the time for us to give back. Because of all the treatments, medicine and procedures, Judy has had to close the Flower Shop temporarily. My mom's surgery is scheduled for July 30th. Any financial help you can offer to offset these expenses would be greatly appreciated. You can bet when Judy's back to 100% health, she'll be there to offer a helping hand!
Along with this website, we'll be hosting a Pancake Supper at the England First United Methodist Church. The event will take place on July 17 from 5:00-7:00pm.
