Zoey's MRI Fund
Donation protected
Our baby girl Zoey was tentatively diagnosed with Syringomyelia - A serious condition in which fluid-filled cavities develop within the spinal cord near the brain. This terrible, non-curable disease has become most common in the King Charles Cavalier breed. Unfortunately, our Zoey girl has been exhibiting signs of this disease since she was 6 months old. Many of the symptoms can be attributed to any of several common causes, such as seasonal allergies or a food allergy. We hoped her symptoms were the cause of something this simple, but no such luck....and her symptoms have only gotten worse.
An MRI is the only way to confirm Syringomyelia. Our neurologist has prescribed medicine (Gabapentin & Prilosec) to help relieve her pain but has recommended an MRI to give us a better understanding of her current state. Please help us raise money so we can get her an MRI asap.
