Please Help Connie,
On November 20, 2020, DTR native and friend, Connie Anderson was admitted to UMC in severe pain.
What she thought might be kidney stones ended up being a basketball size mass in her abdomen.
A week later, Connie underwent surgery to remove the mass and it was sent off for testing. Today, Connie was told that the large mass was benign but the smaller tumors were pre-cancer.
Connie cannot currently work. She was told to not lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk. She still has follow up appointments and needs medication.
It may only be a few weeks but Connie has no savings and cannot survive without food, water, and heat.
Please donate if you can. We are trying to cover Connie's basic human needs until she is able to go back to work.
