Jay Lowder, General Manager, walks the site of his home in Coffey Park, over 1000 homes lost in this community.
Dear Anytime Fitness Family,
We are sending this request from Brett & Rachel Livingstone, Ace Baldwin, John and Denise Stave and Pat Kam on behalf of victims of the Northern California fires. As many of you know, our community in Sonoma County has been devastated by a firestorm. Countless people have lost their homes, their animals, and some their lives. The devastation has been unreal.
We are reaching to you in hope of gaining some support for our community. We are planning to forward all funds raised here directly to our seven employees and many members, potentially hundreds, who have lost their homes or were displaced by the fire. We will withdraw the funds directly and then purchase visa gift cards to distribute to the staff and members who have been affected. This will allow them to purchase essentials such as clothes, shoes, toiletries, and food. Many are still paying for hotels or are trying to transition away from an evacuation center. We are assessing each of our staff and members situations and want to be able to help where they need it most. We are gathering stories and reaching out directly.
Please consider helping our community in any way you can by donating to our campaign.
While our gyms are still standing, we are working to re-open as quickly as possible. We hope to be a place of respite, normalcy, and support for our community. Thank you for your help, no amount is too small!
