Anthroposophy Spiritual Studies

My Name is Nomizamo Tyalisi. I am 26 Years of age and was born in Cape Town, South Africa. I was raised in a small township called Samora Machell, situated in Phillipi. I attended Elementary and Intermediate classes at Weltevreden Valley Core Primary School and Secondary School at Maitland High School.

In 2018 I was fortunate enough to be part of the Vulingoma Choir, raising funds for our second home( Vulamasango) around Europe. During the Tour, I received an amazing offer for my apprenticeship as a Hotel specialist from Petra Hoffmann through Florian Krämer, because of the scarcity of such opportunities where I come from, I decided to grab the offer with both hands and take care of my future and pave the way for the next to come in line.

With the help of Norbert Grote and the Hege Helping Hands organisation, I was able to raise enough funds in 2019 for my Visa and the Flight to Germany. In March 2019 I moved to Hamburg, Germany and did my apprenticeship at 25 Hours Hotel HafenCity where I obtained my certificate of completion.

In October I will be starting with my studies in Anthroposophy in Dornarch, Switzerland.

What motivates me to do this course is knowing that it will help me grow up mentally and spiritually. I am motivated to do this course because it will assist me in getting out my comfort and safe zone.

Receiving funding for this course would be life changing. It would give me the chance to give back to the project Vulamasango and the beautiful work it continues to do. This opportunity would further my efforts in bringing change to the little corner that I come from and have a ripple effect on other young people.

in total I will be needing 8.915€, which will be divided into 3600CHF for the tuition, 420CHF per month for accommodation and 1000€ for transportation from Germany to Switzerland.
