Where to begin? If you know my parents, you love them. They are the most selfless people I know. They are the first to step in, help, provide service to others. Now, they need a little help. My mom has recently been diagnosed with Multiple Myleoma cancer. She is stage 2 of 3. It is rare, incurable, but treatable. Even though she hasn’t yet began treatments, the amount of tests and bills are piling up. I know she is trying her best to get through it all, but I can’t imagine it’s easy. To add to her stress and my dad’s, he recently had surgery. He had juvenile glacuoma, and didn’t have vision in one eye. Long story short he had an implant and prosthetic eye. The implant failed. He has had surgery to repair the eye, but, he needs a new prosthetic eye made. The eye is not
Covered by insurance and that alone is about 5k. Understandably, he is self-conscious about it and would like to fix that. Our family has really been hit hard with all of this happening at once.
