2nd Annual BUGS NJHS Leadership!

Please help us send Brooklyn Urban Garden School 's National Junior Honor Society to represent our school for the 2nd year in a row for another amazing leadership opportunity!
Our title 1 school is excited to send as a many of our 50 elite 7th and 8th grade members (and four chaperones) on various trips throughout our Spring Semester! On these trips, students will attend conferences on leadership, participate in panels to develop skills to improve our school culture, listen to inspiring speakers, visit museums, monuments, landmarks, colleges and make lifelong connections with other student leaders from around the country!
National Junior Honor Society is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding middle-level students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1929.
However, the cost of these trips are steep. The cost per child is over $600. To ease the cost for these students, we are humbly asking for $5000 for the following:
- Transportation
- Food
- Lodging
- Entry fees and more...
