Mark Madrid, a 1995 honors graduate from the University of Texas at Austin and a 2014 honors Master of Nonprofit Administration (MNA) graduate from the University of Notre Dame is "paying it forward" with the Mark L. Madrid scholarships, awarded to deserving undergraduate and/or graduate Hispanic students across the U.S. Named one of the inaugural Texas Modern Hispanic Gentlemen, Mark is grateful to Ketel One and Texas Monthly for providing the means to inaugurate the Mark L. Madrid Scholarships in 2012.
This year's recipients are 11 collegiate #AllStars of the C.A.P.S. program of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (CHCC) Foundation.
To empower and train the next generation of successful Hispanic civic and business leaders, the 2018 CAPS curriculum includes:
-Etiquette for the 21st Century Protocol
-Self and Group Awareness
-Strengths Finder - Maximize Your Potential
-The Art of Networking
-Your Elevator Speech
-Public Speaking
-Negotiations and Conflict Management
-Budget and Financial Planning
-Leadership Skills
-Mock Interview
Today, a grassroots base of donors sustain the MLM Scholarships. Will you join this unique and most critical ground game to ensure that we transfer the great "equalizer," a college education, to our high-performing college students with a track record of excellence, character and GANAS?
