Me and My wife are starting this fundraiser because we were planning on renting a house but were scammed. My wife and I have been looking for a home to rent and start our lives together as we are expecting a baby in a few months, and having this happen, hurt our financial status as we are desperate to find a house. I work 50+ and my wife as she works the most hours she can with the baby to get by. The police were no help, and we had no way of getting our money back. Thankfully WNEM 5 reached out to us and is taking the initiative to help my wife and I.
