Ann Marie's Last Semester

Hello friends & family & Internet strangers,

I am finally in my last semester of grad school (YAY!), and I found out that I had to pay out of pocket for tuition & fees (BOO!). This Masters degree has been so important to my growth as a professional and a human being and a lot of you know how great this program has been for me. I took a second (part-time) job to help pay the expenses. Even with the two jobs - and my dogsitting and bartending on the side - I am still having trouble paying this semester.

I hope y'all know I wouldn't ask unless it was vital, but, I need help. Asking for help has been so difficult for me over the years, but I have added "self-advocating" and "asking for help when I truly need it" as two of my personal goals.

I want you to know that you should not feel obligated to donate anything. If you can't donate any money right now for whatever reason, please send me silly .gifs, kind thoughts, or a vegetarian casserole every now and then (only kind-of kidding about that casserole). If you can donate something - anything! - I will be so humbled and appreciative. I have added some incentive to donating: a few homemade items, care packages, services, etc. so you can feel like you're also getting something out of this deal. You all mean the world to me.
