Dear Annie's friends & family!
Annie suffered an incident on Friday night when she was returning home from school on her scooter and an ignorant driver hit her when turning left in a straight lane. Annie was lucky enough to get out from this serious incident with broken legs and arms. She should be able to walk in approximately 3 months. She was very very lucky to wear a helmet that saved her life.
The driver had a rental car that only had a liability coverage for 10,000$ so it is uncertain if there will be any additional coverage available and Annie's attorney is currently researching the situation.
Because the hospital bill will be very high and Annie will not be able to have income anytime soon we decided to start this fundraising to help her. Every dollar counts and is very appreciated by Annie.
Please respect Annie's privacy and if you just found out about this do not blow up her phone. She is not able to read messages or respond and it is very disturbing for her currently to receive these messages. She will gladly read any greetings sent via this website and she appreciates your help very much.
I will update Annie's situation weekly. Currently she is after one surgery and waiting for another one on both of her legs and left arm. She is doing better every day and is grateful to be alive.
