Annie’s Lake Swim for Beat

I’ll be swimming 2 miles in Lake Windermere on June 12th to raise money for BEAT. I would love if you would be able to help me raise some money for this amazing charity!

Thank you so much to everyone who’s donated so far! Beat is a fantastic cause and your donation will go towards supporting those suffering with eating disorders in the UK today, as well as their families. 

Eating disorders are crippling to live with and can steal years from sufferers as well as putting huge strain on families and friends, they’re also largely misunderstood by GPs and it can be very difficult to get adequate NHS care. Beat provide a helpline service, as well as a safe online space. They also provide support for families and friends of sufferers so that they can be equipped to support their loved ones. Beat do this all while campaigning for improved quality of medical support and knowledge of eating disorders in the healthcare system.
