Annie Roundy Cancer Treatment

After battling breast cancer 3 years ago while pregnant with her youngest child, Annie has recently been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer that has spread to her brain and bones. A few weeks ago, Annie underwent brain surgery and will soon be starting radiation 5 days a week, for 3-5 weeks. While she undergoes treatment, Annie will need to live away from her family so she can be closer to the medical center and her husband Dale can continue working as a school teacher at home.

Annie and Dale have strong faith in Jesus Christ. In a recent blog post Annie said, “The only way I have been able to get through all of this is relying on my Lord and Savior. I relied on Him so much during all the cancer treatments last time. I know I can do it again. The Book of Mormon is what I turn to when I need some peace and some uplifting. It helps me to feel comfort, and strength to go on to the next treatment, and hope that it will all turn out the way it should.”

Annie’s family is hesitant to ask for help, but any amount you can spare will go a long way to help offset the medical and travel expenses that are in front of their sweet family. Any donations or prayers will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
