Save Anne Austin From Breast Cancer

After 60+ years of excellent health, my beautiful, brave, wonderful wife, Anne Austin, has breast cancer.
In August, 2017, Anne was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast, an aggressive and fast-growing cancer. It’s not tumor forming, but has spread into the breast tissue and the surrounding skin and lymph nodes.
Anne’s breast, underarm, side, midriff, back, and other breast are now involved. The cancer is literally consuming her flesh, creating constant pain and discomfort. Every movement hurts!
Because there is no tumor, surgery and radiation are not even options. And chemotherapy, according to our consulting oncologist, does not offer a cure, either.
But surgery, radiation, and chemo are the only treatments health insurance will pay for. So we went outside the country to get therapies not available in the United States.
After three weeks Anne’s symptoms improved, but the cancer was still spreading, so a second round of treatments was added – a modified chemo regimen along with proven immunotherapy treatments.
She is responding to this therapy, but it must be continued for some time and we are out of funds NOW!
We’ve already spent $80,000 out of pocket that insurance will not pay for. We need $60,000 more to continue with the treatments that can save Anne’s life.
We know it's a lot, but that's why we're here asking for your help.
And for us it is urgent!
Urgent that we replace some of the money spent so far...
and urgent that we continue Anne’s treatments without a break.
It’s too soon to stop or delay the treatments!
