Anna's Myeloma Fight

Donation protected
Three years ago, Anna moved to the state of Washington, from her home in New England, to begin a new chapter of her life with David, a reunited love from her youth.  It was the most spontaneous and best move she ever made.  Not a single regret.

In September of 2017, their happiness was shaken to the core when Anna was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a cancer of the plasma cells.  Multiple Myeloma is rare and currently there is no cure.  With treatment Anna can live for many years to come.  Currently she is undergoing chemotherapy in preparation for a stem cell transplant which will hopefully take place sometime between March and May of this year.  Stem cell transplants are essentially the same as a bone marrow transplant.  It’s called a stem cell transplant when stem cells are collected from the blood and a bone marrow transplant when the stem cells are collected from the marrow.

Anna’s prognosis, with a stem cell transplant, is very positive and doctors are highly optimistic for full remission.  She, her family, and her friends believe in divine synchronicity and that her recent move to the Seattle area, where she is being treated at one of the top, most successful Centers for Stem Cell Transplants in the world, is no coincidence.

Anna is strong, no-nonsense in her approach, and has the attitude needed to beat this.

    But she needs our help.

Treatment of this nature is very costly as we all know.  Some of the treatment is covered by insurance but the transplant requires a temporary move to Seattle for
two to three months.  There will be living expenses there on top of all the normal expenses at home.  During this time there will be no income for either Anna or David because David has to be with Anna 24/7.  Anna is trying to get things in motion now so she can be prepared when the time comes as there will only be 3-4 weeks notice as to when the transplant will actually take place.   Please help in whatever amount you are able to give.  No donation is too small.  Every gift helps greatly and is so deeply appreciated.

Anna has always been tirelessly devoted to her three children, nine grandchildren, extended family and friends.  She is the first to step up for others in need both materially and emotionally.  Anyone who knows her, knows this.

Our most sincere thanks for your help.
