Annabelle’s Sponsored Haircut

Hello! I have decided to cut off (at least) 18 inches of my hair to donate to The Little Princess Trust, who create wigs from hair donations for children suffering hair loss as a result of Cancer treatment or Alopecia. I’ve had long hair my whole life and it’s become a part of my identity so I’m a little bit nervous but I know there are other people who need hair more than me! I’ve been watching a programme on Netflix about a girl my age living with cancer and it’s really touched me, and made me realise that losing your hair when it’s such a big part of your identity is super tough, especially when dealing with a disease as well. Ive realised that I don’t need my hair like children with cancer, alopecia or any hair loss condition do. Obviously I will need to wait for hair dressers to be open before I can go for the big cut, but if anyone would like to donate, it will help support this wonderful charity to turn hair donations into wigs! I’m hoping to raise sponsorship to help support the charity to turn my hair into a wig for a child who is suffering with hair loss! If you donate some money it would mean a lot to me but I know it’s a difficult time for lots of people so don’t feel like you need to donate! Thank you!
