Anna Harmon Medical Fund

On December 30, 2017, Anna Harmon was driving to work when she slid on an icy patch of road, went off the road, and hit a tree. Anna suffered significant injuries to her right leg and her left hip. Even though she broke both bones in her right leg, and her left hip was dislocated, she was able to crawl into the back seat of her father’s Avalanche. Being a quick thinking teenager, she wanted to ensure that she could exit the vehicle if it caught on fire. After a trip via Life Flight to St  Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, she underwent an emergency surgery to repair her leg and put her hip back into place. As an active teen and avid softball player, Anna has to limit her activities this winter and spring. However looking at the Avalanche, one realizes that it is a miracle that she survived the crash.

 

Due to a recent job relocation, the family is left with limited medical insurance and significant medical bills. Pastor Mike Harmon and his family  moved from Owosso, Michigan to Wauseon, Ohio to become the Lead Pastor at the First Church of God in Wauseon. Pastor Mike, his wife Joanna, sons Micah and Jonah and daughter, Anna, had just begun to settle into life in Northwest Ohio when this accident happened.

 

As the First Church of God in Wauseon is working to help the Harmon family with their medical expenses, we wanted to give you the opportunity to help this deserving family along with us. We know that Pastor Mike and his family have touched the lives of many individuals in their hometowns of Oakwood, Ohio and Fort Wayne, Indiana and in their former pastorates in South Carolina, Bay City, Michigan and Owosso, Michigan.
