Anish Aggarwal is a 40 year old father of two. Anish lives in Southern California with his wife Lavi and his two adoring daughters, ages 3 and 8. He is a graduate of Cornell University and a technology developer, engineer and entrepreneur. He and his wife Lavi focus their work on helping people simplify and organize their lives to gain more time to do what makes them happy. This is why they created Simplish, a mobile productivity tool to help you stay organized and make sure you do not feel overwhelmed by the numerous tasks that are a part of our lives. Anish is so incredibly passionate about finding the time to spend time with family, travel, enjoy and appreciate nature that he and Lavi have dedicated their energy to developing Simplish so others can find the joy. He has a deep positivity and appreciation for life that are intrinsic to his nature.
Anish loves music, is a world traveler, deep thinker, boisterous friend, and a playful, devoted father. He is beloved by all his family and friends, especially his girls. He embraces strangers like old friends and cares deeply for others, putting his focus on living life with passion and purpose and finding beauty everywhere in the world.
Tragically, in December 2019, Anish and his family's lives were rocked when he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia without any prior warning or symptoms. Anish's wife recently lost her own father to cancer, and just when they were putting this wound behind them, Anish’s shocking diagnosis came and upended their lives.
Since the day he was diagnosed, Anish has been forced to remain in the hospital, receiving around the clock treatment and he and Lavi missed their first holiday season with his daughters.
Please donate so we can increase the number of South Asians in the bone marrow registry and cover the costs of testing kits, cover medical costs, and help further the research of AML. Please help us find more donors for South Asians and help us in the fight for a cure.
