Animal control officer Keith Dozier responded to a call regarding a reported puppy barking outside in near-sub freezing temperatures during the night when he was assaulted by two men; resulting in a injured leg, torn ACL, and several other injuries. Officer Keith Dozier subdued one of the men, however the other attacker began to kick him in the face causing further injury. He is currently unable to walk and is awaiting surgery, which he was informed will leave him out of work for at least 9 months and also requires therapy in order to learn how to properly walk once more. Officer Keith Dozier has been put out of work once before due to a work-related incident and is in need of help. He is asking for assistance in raising money to help support his family and any medical/unforseen expenses that may arise while he is out of work. Officer Keith Dozier is a well-known individual for his heroic actions performed rescuing thousands of animals throughout Cleveland, Ohio and is now in need of your help!
