Angling4Autism

Angling4Autism is an inaugural event providing the opportunity for families of individuals with autism the ability to experience fishing for their first time.

Individuals with autism have a broad range of conditions often characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and non verbal cues and communication. This can at times limit their access to what is deemed ‘typical’ societal opportunities. Angling4Autism would help bridge the gap by creating an inclusive opportunity for these individuals and their family members.

I am looking to fundraise in order to have families expenses covered such that there are no out of pocket costs incurred.

Proceeds from Angling4Autism and any surplus funding from this GoFundMe initiative will go directly to the Canucks Autism Network in support of sports and recreation programs.
