Angie’s farewell ❤️
On Friday our Mum had a terrible accident. She slipped and hit her head on a curb on holiday in France, causing huge amounts of bleeding in her brain. We have been hoping and praying for her but are heartbroken to say that today the doctors pronounced her braindead.
Mum has been so many things to so many people, and brought a lot of happiness and joy to those lucky enough to have been in her life. Through the good and the bad, she has always wanted nothing but happiness for everyone around her.
She has been on life support and taken care of at the Angers University hospital in France, but we will bring her back to the UK for her to finally rest in peace.
It is awful to have to think about money at a time like this, but the cost of emergency care in a foreign country, transporting her back to the UK and funeral costs are significant, especially in such a sudden accident.
Our family is heartbroken as our Mum has passed away after a tragic accident while on holiday in France. We are in shock and feeling the loss beyond words. She was a loving, caring mother, sister, grandmother and friend.
After being in emergency care since Friday 27th, her struggle has come to an end and she has now passed. We are working to bring her back to the UK and starting arrangements for the celebration of her life.
This has been so sudden and none of us were prepared for it – and unexpected costs are mounting quickly, which is why we have started this page. If you are able to give anything to support the costs of her.
