Memorial Fund

**UPDATE**

Mom's place of employment is now covering the costs of the funeral so the monies initially needed will now be used to pay for extra costs eg flowers, death certificate etc

Hello, I am Terri-ann and I'm starting this fundraiser to help raise funds to pay for my mom's funeral.

Didn't expect to be in this position but here we are and we feel like we are getting nowhere so are asking for help.

My Mom was loved by many and had lots of friend's, she worked the same job for nearly 40 years of her life and made a bunch of friend's along the way.

However sadly she passed away at Heartlands Hospital on the 18th of August at 4am totally unexpected as she was only admitted on the 10th August with pains and breathing difficulties which we believed were due to a condition diagnosed by the Gp called Costochondritus. It transpired within a few days that this was Cancer and I was told by a specialist on the 17th of August that mom had Colorectal Cancer and was advised by palliative care team that treatment would stop as she was actively dying.

As you can imagine myself, her brother and sister in law are devastated at her unexpected passing and to find that there are no monies available to give her the send off she deserves.

We as a family would like to thank you as we understand the struggle for everyone in these current times if you are able to spare anything to help us.
