Angela's Stroke Recovery

On Tuesday July 16th, my mom Angela passed out at her work and was rushed to the ER. When she arrived they staff did an ct-scan of her brain and found a large blood clot in the left part of her brain. Not being able to remove it at Baylor Grapevine, she was care flighted off to Baylor Dallas to get it removed.
After hours of surgery they were able to get most of the clot removed but it had already been over 3 hours without oxygen in that part of the brain, which resulted in a stroke. The right side of her body is not able to communicate with her brain. This makes it were she cannot move her right arm and leg. Also, she is unable to speak fully, she knows what she wants she is just unable to say it.
After a week at Baylor Dallas, we got her transferred to UT Southwestern Zale Hospital to get the rehab she needs to help her move again and speak. Its a long road ahead but she is making great progress.
