Angel Ojeda's Hit and Run Recovery Fund

Angel was the victim of a hit and run on February 18, 2022. A car blew through a stop sign and kept going leaving Angel with a broken pelvis, a broken collarbone, a broken femur, and head and internal injuries. He is awake and stable after his first surgery but faces a difficult and complicated recovery.

 

Angel has overcame many undeserving obstacles in this world. Angel is a little person with a big heart, never letting his handicap be a hindrance to living his life to the fullest. To now endure a serious accident that has the potential to affect the rest of his life physically and financially is particularly daunting.

 

Angel has touched many lives and is greatly loved. He is a wonderful uncle, sibling, friend, and son. He is a lover of all types of music and was en route to support a local Seattle band when this incident occurred.

 

Angel may never see the justice he deserves from his perpetrator but as a community, we can support him in his recovery process.

 

All donations received through this GoFundMe page will be used to help Angel cover the medical and living costs from his surgery, hospitalization, rehabilitation and recovery. Apart from a lot of PT and potential inpatient-rehabilitation, he will require a wheelchair and wheelchair-accessible housing until he can be weight-bearing again as his pelvis and leg heal over the next months.
