ANDY KRAFSUR MEMORIAL FUND

Andy Krafsur was a loving father, caring husband, loyal friend, and dedicated member of the El Paso community. Andy’s positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and love of people were undeniably infectious. He was “everyone’s friend” – whether you had known him for years or just met him minutes before. Andy’s job took him all over the world and all who met him  were better for the experience. Tragically, Andy lost his fierce battle with mental illness and Bipolar Disorder and passed away last week - too young and too soon - leaving his wife Holly and their three children, Alyssa, Alana, and Neil.

Andy often said his greatest accomplishment in which he took the most pride, were his children. Without him, their financial situation has become extremely difficult. As Andy's friends, we are humbly asking for donations instead of other gifts to help support Alyssa, Alana, and Neil with their college tuition, expenses, and outstanding student loan debt.  Accomplishing this goal will take a huge burden off the family while at the same time pay tribute to Andy who touched so many lives.

Alyssa, Alana, and Neil attend or will attend Texas Tech University.  Neil graduates from high school in May in the top 10% of his class and has been accepted to the Honors Program at Texas Tech with plans to study environmental engineering starting this fall.  Alana completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations graduating number one in her class and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Mass Communications.  Alyssa earned her undergraduate degree in Honors Biology,  is currently in the Master's program with a focus in  Microbiology and plans to pursue a PhD in Vector Biology. .

Andy will be deeply missed but his heart will live on though his children and his spirit will continue through the El Paso community and his friends everywhere. Please pray and consider if you can help and contribute as you feel led. Thank you.
