In Memory of Andy Greenlee - Meningitis Research

Its 25 years ago now since we lost Andy at age 14 to Meningicoocal Septacaemia a form of Type B Bacterial Meningitis. Myself and a number of Andy’s close family and friends had planned to complete the 10km Mini Marathon this year in aid of the Meningitis Research Foundation  in his memory, unfortunately Covid 19 & Lockdown prevented us from doing this together. I ran my first ever 10km in June instead. Research into meningitis is so important and it’s because of this research that my children and your children can now receive the Vaccine Bexsero for this often Fatal Type of Meningitis that prevents them getting the strain that took Andy's life at such a young age. Andy's 25th Anniversary is on the 15th July  & I would like still like to raise some much needed funds for the Foundation  in his memory if possible. This is where you come in, as I said Myself and a number of others have already run/walked our 10kms and will do so again in the virtual Mini Marathon in Oct. I'm not asking you all to run/walk 10km but I would really appreciate if you could spare something small to donate to Meningitis Research Foundation in Andy's memory. Thanks in advance Tanya
