6th Grade Field Trip to Yosemite

Hello, my name is Andria Salanga, and I’m a 6th grader at Emerson Middle School. On January 2018, some 6th graders are going to Yosemite National Park for a week. Only certain people are allowed to go, so I applied to be one of those students. I needed to write an essay about what I can learn on the trip, get a letter of recommendation from my teacher, and ask for my current grades from all my teachers. After a week I found out I got accepted and I was so excited! The reasons why I got accepted was because I have very good grades, I behave well in class, and I do my best as a student.

I would love to go because I can only imagine all the fun activities we’ll be doing at Yosemite National Park, like hiking and seeing historical sights! I'm sure the food will taste great too! Since the trip is a week long I would really want my mom to be one of the chaperones. Then we  can both enjoy the activities and she can help and protect me and the other students.

Unfortunately, the only thing stopping us is the cost. The whole trip is very expensive and due before January so I am asking for your help by donating to my campaign. I can also hand-draw a Kawaii/cute picture and mail/email it to you to show you my gratitude.  I would be very grateful and I bet if we all take part, my mom and I will be able to go!
