Unexpected Obstacles to Pro Soccer

Donation protected
I’ve made the 1st cut for Pro Soccer Tryouts! I was so excited! It’s been a dream of mine since I was 6. Growing up in Uganda we made “soccer” balls out of paper bags and tin cans. I came to America to study to be a Physical Therapist but still dream of playing soccer. I played soccer in highschool for four years. We were State Champions once and qualified for States all 4 years. I was named All City, and all Conference. My club team qualified for state cup for four years and won State Cup once. I have been a mentor and speak to young people encouraging them to follow their dreams.

I had savings set aside to go to the Washington DC PSC Soccer Academy tryouts and made the cut! (375 tried out only 25 made it).  I was invited to Europe for the second round of tryouts. Unfortunately, I’ve had some setbacks. I had my appendix removed and because of that I couldn’t work so I lost my paycheck. I’ve been trying to help out my mom at home. I really need $6,500 by Feb. 5 to cover airfare, hotel, food, entrance fees and health expenses. I’m back practicing and am ready to go!

I’m asking for donations/sponsorships of any size quickly. If you can fund me over $250, I hope to present you with a soccer ball signed by me if i'm selected. Donations of any size will be very gratefully appreciated. If all you can give is best wishes I would appreciate it if you could pass on my predicament to someone else who might help. I have a video of me playing and photo

attached.
