Andrew "Bongo" Shelton Memorial

The Andrew "Bongo" Shelton Band Memorial Scholarship was founded in Memory of the life of Andrew "Bongo" Shelton. His life was filled with a passion for music and the memories that were formed during his time involved with band and drumline formed who he had become as a man. Likewise, the impact that he had on others involved in the program gave them the passion that he shared. In lieu of flowers for his Memorial, his parents have requested that the money spent would be better served continuing to spread his love and passion on to future students of the band program that he gave so much to and that gave so much to him. 

This Scholarship Memorial will continue for generations through the Flash of Crimson Band Program that Bongo was involved with in High School from 2005-2009. The Scholarship will be awarded to students with a similar passion for music who may not have the financial ability to be a part of the Flash of Crimson Family. 

The Shelton Family would like to thank you in advance for your contribution to his memory and for the continued support of their family and the band family that they grew to love and cherish.
