Andrew Deering Family-Fallen Fire Fighter

Donation protected
On Thursday, September 10th 2020, fire fighter Andrew Deering tragically lost his life on an off-duty accident while vacationing with his family at the Oregon Coast during Labor Day weekend. Andrew devoted over 20 years of his life working with the Moses Lake Fire Department and as a first responder. He was well known for his hard work, dedication and loving heart. However, during his time with department and as a first responder,  he was subjected to severe degrees of trauma and ultimately struggled with PTSD and depression.

Andrew's wife Tasiya is asking the community to bring forth awareness to those they know and who may be suffering from a mental illness,  to be open and talk about it, in hopes that it could save someone's life.

Andrew  devoted much of his life to helping others within the community and to his family and friends. He loved deeply, was extremely compassionate and selfless while always putting others before himself. He was an honorable man, receiving the distinguished service award and several certifications while with the fire department.

Andrew’s family needs our support more than ever now. Your generous donations will help alleviate some of the family’s financial burdens during this tragic and unexpected time. Please continue to keep Andrew’s family in your prayers as they continue to mourn the loss of their beloved fallen hero.
