Andreas Treatment Fund

I am starting this page for a very special woman.  Andrea has MS. This disease is very aggressive and at 45 years young she is unable to move and bend her legs. She now needs help for the basic day to day functions of life.  She is a fighter and has tried several avenues for treatment including the Mayo Clinic and The Neurological Inst. in Chicago.  Unfortunately her situation is dire and the treatment from local doctors only includes medications to help mask the painful debilitating side effects of this disease.  With Andrea's condition as serious as it has become, she  still has hope! Andrea has been accepted  for treatment through Stemedix.  This is a very promising treatment and thousands of individuals with MS have seen very succesful results.  The unfortunate side of this is the price. The cost is right at $15,000.00 to have it done and no insurance policy will help or cover it.  Medicare, which she is on now that she has become disabled, will not approve or even consider paying.  Andrea is an amazingly strong woman and Mother to her teen daughter. She  does not allow this disease to get her down.  Andrea fights every moment of every day.  I am hoping to find other kind hearts out there to help get her this treatment she desperately needs to hopefully give her some quality of life.  I hope you feel it in your heart to help!
