Andrea's Cancer Battle and Family Support

As some of you know, Andrea has been battling cancer for the past two years.

Our daughter/sister/wife/mother/aunt/friend has been fighting this disease with GRACE, strength, and positivity every single day. She is an EXTRAORDINARY person hoping and praying for a miracle. She was diagnosed with a rare ampullary cancer and underwent a difficult surgery known as the Whipple procedure along with multiple rounds of chemotherapy over many months. Although the procedure was initially successful, the cancer returned a few months later and unfortunately, has continued to spread. She has exhausted all medical avenues including most recently a clinical trial. She has endured countless surgeries, blood tests, infusions, transfusions, PET scans, CT scans, biopsies, medications etc.

In addition to medical expenses that are not covered by insurance, there are also many everyday expenses such as day care for her four-year-old daughter, Evelyn and house cleaning/maintenance which are adding up. Not to mention seeking out other self-care options and alternative treatments such as reiki, acupuncture, hydration and holistic medicine, etc. to improve her comfort and quality of life.

Another unfortunate situation due to her original battle with lymphoma 20 years ago, is that she was no longer able to qualify for life insurance.

Andrea is one of the BRAVEST, most selfless people we know. She has ALWAYS been there when friends and family have needed a hand. Now, more than ever, she needs as much support as possible.
