Andreas BIRTDHAY fundraiser!
Donation protected
It's my 24th birthday TODAYY! ♥ It would mean a lot to me if you could help make this project happen. I am hoping that my friends and family could donate instead of giving me any presents!
We are helping a widow group in samuli by building a modern greenhouse (with drip irrigation, sensors, water collection, insurance).
I have just transferred the first half of the cost of the greenhouse, but we still need another £2000 to build the greenhouse. I have so much faith in this project and hope you will get behind it too.
Life as a widow in this community is incredibly difficult, so these are women that has faced a lot.. It is not socially accepted to remarry, there are not opportunities for jobs, and starting a business cannot be done without capital. The widows struggle to make ends meet, pay for childrens education and necessary healthcare.
These widows have a lot of motivation! They have spent years trying to make a living together and meet every single week.
This project will make a huge change if we can raise the money! I got a contract with a business in Nairobi that will purchase the vegetables from the widows- guaranteeing a decent income for the group.
Also, as soon as they start earning money, they will repay the cost of the greenhouse - allowing us to set up ANOTHER greenhouse for another group, so your money will keep making a difference. Works sort of like a micro loan but with support all the way through from NABIO and our local partners.
Feel free to DM me if you have questions! ♥
