Ana Acevedo’s Memorial Support Fund
Hello everyone - On behalf of the Acevedo family we created this go fund me in hopes of raising as many donations as we can to help with the expenses that have accumulated these last 4 horrific months of our mom’s life. If you knew our mom, you knew she was the life of the party, the loudest person in the room, and the person with the biggest heart!
On December 17th she was admitted to the hospital with Covid. Unfortunately, on January 3rd she had to be intubated and placed in a medically induced coma. During this time she wasn’t allowed any visitors, but we made sure to FaceTime her every single night in hopes that she would hear all our voices. Finally after 2 LONG months of not being able to see, hold , or kiss our mom we were finally allowed to be with her on February 23rd.
There were MANY hurdles that our mom was faced with, but our family never lost hope. Our mom is the strongest woman we know. Whether it was taking time off work, driving 100 miles to the hospital, or spending our lunch breaks with her, our family always stuck together to make sure our mom had someone next to her at all times.
On April 15th our biggest nightmare became our new reality. Our mom, matriarch, biggest supporter, and our QUEEN was called to HEAVEN. Our family is heartbroken and we haven’t been able to come to terms with what has happened. We would like to thank every single person for the support and prayers that were sent to our mom and family during this nightmare.
