An Urgent Appeal to Raise Funds for my Health

Dear Friends,

I come before you to share something that’s in my heart, but not so easy to share. As some of you may know, I’ve had to face different health conditions for the past 6 years. Thanks to the grace of my Master, Moojibaba, my life has been profoundly blessed regardless of the state of my body. The experience of sickness has indeed been a great teacher along my journey, but more and more I recognise the need for further medical help.

A couple of months ago, I had an MRI scan of my back and it highlighted 3 hernias. A neurologist specialising in back trauma assessed my case and said that this problem, if not treated, will eventually lead to the paralysis of my left leg. He said the situation is reversible but rather urgent. Surgery might be needed, but as it carries some bigger risks, it is the last option.

As directed by the neurologist, I had an ozone injection into my spine, but unfortunately it wasn’t successful and made my back pain even worse. I have now been advised to start osteopathic treatments and physiotherapy, together with further neurological tests, blood exams and a considerable amount of supplements to take daily.

I constantly experience pain in my back, and because of this my physical movements are very limited and constrained, making it difficult for me to do even the simpler things of everyday life. Luckily there are some periods of time where I feel better and I’m able to continue playing music and do some wood work in Sahaja. Playing music is something that brings a very special joy to my heart, and my wish is to be able to continue to serve and be served by it.

Alongside the back pain I have other health conditions such as chronic weakness that affects most of my muscles and joints, migraines and other symptoms that arise randomly and have quite a heavy impact on my mobility. Unfortunately, they have become a daily part of my life and I am doing my best to adjust to these limitations. I was recently prescribed further specialised blood tests and exams to look for the cause of these symptoms.

I am humbly coming before you to ask for help as my medical expenses are increasing so rapidly that I am not able to afford them. This message goes out to those who may feel touched to support me in this cause.

It is a privilege for me to be able to come forward with such a request to my wider heart family. Although not easy, the urgency of the situation made me take this step and ask for help with an open heart. Any amount, smaller or bigger, will help to make it possible for me to continue the various examinations and treatments coming up.

It would mean a lot for me to feel good and healthy again. It’s been quite a while.

Below is my prescribed treatment plan as of now. It could be that I will need further treatments, medicines or surgery, depending on the results of the tests. I really don’t know how and at what pace my body will respond to the treatments, but the aim of this fundraiser is to help cover the next 2 years of medical care. I estimate this to be about 26,000 Euros. It would be an enormous, if not life changing support for me.
