An attempt at a great work of art by Max Jenkins

I'm Max Jenkins and I'm directing my first short film.

I wrote it with Samy Burch (Oscar nom for May December, directed by Todd Haynes), Alex Mechanik (Oscar nom for story for May December) and Sophie von Haselberg.

The film stars Ms. von Haselberg.

It is an ambitious, strange and beautiful screenplay, and if you help me it will be a magnificent film.

It feels vulnerable to ask for money. But it makes me happy to think of my loved ones and fellow artists being able to share in the success of my first movie as a director.

We're all connected, although I'm always forgetting it.
