At just 8 years old, Pedro is an unstoppable force in the kart! Overcoming bone cancer at age 7, Pedro now races with a titanium prosthetic in his right leg, proving that nothing can hold back his racing dreams!
He sets his sights on winning The Colorado State Karting Championship, and pushed hard in his recovery to be able to achieve this... And now has his sights set on competing in the nationals next year! He is showing kids with limb difference or cancer related disability worldwide that nothing can hold them back!

Pedro has been passionate about cars & racing since he was very young, and what got him through his very aggressive cancer treatment and amputation was the knowledge that once he completed treatment he would be able to race!
Pedro can't run, hop, ride a bike, or walk like other kids... but because of his passion for racing... none of that matters to him. As Pedro says: 'Who needs to run when you can RACE!'
