I have been battling auto-immune related issues for well over 15 years.  Multiple diagnosis' and much suffering, hospitalizations, and physical/mental unwellness has taken a toll on my body. Recently, the root cause of these ailments was discovered as Alpha-1.  This is a very rarely detected disorder.  It is an abnormal gene condition which leaves abnormal proteins in the liver which eventually turns to liver disease. The only treatment option is transplant. Therefore, this procedure is incredibly necessary.
