Amy wurde von einem Auto angefahren! Sie hat einen Bandscheibenvorfall und muss dringend operiert werden!

Ein lauter Knall. So laut, dass man aus dem Schlaf aufschreckt. Da es jedoch immer wieder zu Unfällen auf dieser Straße kommt, war es nachdem es danach wieder leiser wurde, kein Grund aufzustehen. So meinte der Mann, der unsere Tierschützer angerufen hat, zu ihnen, habe er sich wieder hingelegt. Und erst als es morgens Zeit war zur Arbeit zu gehen, entdeckten er den Grund des Knalls.

In seinem Garten befanden sich zwei Hunde, die nicht seine waren. Einer davon lag blutüberströmt da, der andere saß daneben und lies niemanden an den Hund ran. Deshalb rief der Mann gleich unsere Tierschützer an und bat sie zur Hilfe zu Eilen. Diese ließen alles stehen und liegen und eilten hin.

Was sie dann sahen, gefiel ihnen gar nicht. Eine Hündin mit einer bzw. riesigen Wunden direkt am Auge. Die arme Hündin, die wir Amy getauft haben, konnte nicht auf die Beine stehen und stand wohl noch unter Schock.

Sie wurde von einem Auto angefahren, das in den frühen Morgenstunden mit vermutlich überhöhter Geschwindigkeit unterwegs war. An der Unfallstelle fanden unsere Tierschützer später die komplette Stoßstange und einen Scheinwerfer. Der Aufprall den Amy abbekommen hatte muss immens gewesen sein. Wir sind sehr froh, dass sie dabei nicht gleich an Ort und Stelle verstorben ist!

Der Rüde, der neben ihr saß und zunächst niemanden an sie ran lies, hatte nichts abbekommen.

Unsere Tierschützer zögerten nicht lange. So ist die Lage kritisch gewesen in der sich Amy befand! Sie gaben ihr Schmerzmittel, und luden sie in ihr Auto ein. Der Tierarzt vor Ort, so wussten sie, kann in diesem Fall nicht helfen. Deshalb fuhren sie direkt mit ihr zum Spezialisten, der jedoch 3 Stunden entfernt ist!

Vor Ort angekommen, erhielt Amy erstmal Infusionen, da ihr allgemeiner Zustand sehr schlecht war. Die Blutwerte waren gar nicht gut. Doch die tapfere Hündin schlug sich wacker. Die Infusionen zeigten Wirkung und so war es möglich weitere Untersuchungen vorzunehmen. So wurde sie geröntgt und per Ultraschall untersucht. Oft platzt bei solch einem Aufprall die Blase. Doch glücklicherweise war weder etwas gebrochen, noch die Blase geplatzt! Was ein Glück!

Unsere Belma berichtete, dass alle gemeinsam aufatmeten, als sie im Ultraschall die Blase entdeckten und diese unbeschädigt war. Eine defekte Blase hätte sofort eine Notoperation bedurft und die Chancen, dass sie diese überleben würde, wären sehr gering gewesen.

Glücklicherweise war es „nur“ die große Wunde um ihr Auge. Auch diese bedurfte einer Operation, die der Tierarzt durchführte, nachdem sich ihre Werte gebessert hatten. Diese wurde mit etlichen Stichen genäht.

Leider kann Amy auch nach der Operation nicht selbstständig stehen. Wir hoffen, dass es nur am Schock, den sie vom Unfall erlitten hat liegt und sie in ein paar Tagen wieder laufen kann. Bis dahin muss sie jedoch regelmäßig auf die Beine gestellt werden, damit ihre Muskeln nicht atrophieren!

Update 11.04.2022: Amy wurde in Zagreb einem

Spezialisten vorgestellt. Ein CT mit Kontrastmiteln wurde erstellt - sie hat einen Bandscheibenvorfall und muss DRINGEND OPERIERT WERDEN!

Amy got hit by a car! She has a herniated disc and needs urgent surgery!

A loud bang. So loud that it wakes you up from your sleep. However, as there are always accidents on this road, after it got quieter again afterwards, there was no reason to get up. So the man who called our animal rights activists said to them that he had laid down again. And only when it was time to go to work in the morning did they discover the reason for the bang.

There were two dogs in his garden that were not his. One of them lay there covered in blood, the other sat next to him and didn't let anyone get close to the dog. So the man immediately called our animal rights activists and asked them to hurry to help. They dropped everything and hurried over. 

What they saw next they didn't like at all. A bitch with one or huge wounds directly on the eye. The poor dog we christened 

Amy couldn't stand up and was probably still in shock. She was hit by a car that was probably traveling at excessive speed in the early hours of the morning. At the scene of the accident, our animal rights activists later found the entire bumper and a headlight. The impact Amy had received must have been immense. We are very glad that she did not die on the spot!

The male, who was sitting next to her and initially didn't let anyone get close to her, hadn't gotten anything. 

 Our animal rights activists didn't hesitate for long. So the situation was critical in which Amy was! They gave her painkillers and invited her into their car. They knew that the local vet would not be able to help in this case. So they drove her straight to the specialist, which is 3 hours away though! 

 Arrived on site, Amy first received infusions because her general condition was very bad. The blood values ​​were not good at all. But the brave bitch put up a good fight. The infusions were effective and it was possible to carry out further investigations. She was x-rayed and examined by ultrasound. Such an impact often bursts the bubble. But luckily nothing was broken and the bubble didn't burst! So lucky! 

Our Belma reported that everyone breathed a sigh of relief when they discovered the bladder on the ultrasound and it was undamaged. A ruptured bladder would have required emergency surgery immediately, and the chances that she would survive it would have been very slim. Luckily it was "only" the big wound around her eye. This also required an operation, which the vet carried out after her values ​​had improved. This was sewn with several stitches. 

Unfortunately, even after the operation, Amy cannot stand on her own. We hope it's just the shock she got from the accident and she'll be able to walk again in a few days. Until then, however, she needs to be put on her feet regularly to keep her muscles from atrophying! 

Update 04/11/2022: Amy became one in Zagreb presented to specialists. A CT was done with contrast media - she has a herniated disc and needs URGENT OPERATION!

Amy je udario auto! Ima disk herniju i potrebna joj je hitna operacija!

Glasan prasak. Toliko glasno da te probudi iz sna. No, kako na ovoj cesti uvijek ima nesreća, nakon što je poslije opet utihnulo, nije bilo razloga za ustajanje. Tako im je čovjek koji je zvao naše borce za prava životinja rekao da je opet legao. I tek kad je ujutro došlo vrijeme za odlazak na posao, otkrili su razlog praska 

U njegovom vrtu bila su dva psa koja nisu bila njegova. Jedan od njih ležao je krvav, drugi je sjedio do njega i nije dao nikome da priđe psu. Stoga je čovjek odmah nazvao naše aktiviste za prava životinja i zamolio ih da požure u pomoć. Sve su ispustili i požurili. 

Ono što su sljedeće vidjeli nije im se nimalo svidjelo. Kuja s jednom ili golemim ranama izravno na oku. Jadni pas kojeg smo krstili Amy nije mogao ustati i vjerojatno je još uvijek bio u šoku. Udario ju je automobil koji je vjerojatno u ranim jutarnjim satima išao velikom brzinom. Na mjestu nesreće naši su aktivisti za prava životinja kasnije pronašli cijeli branik i far. Utjecaj koji je Amy imala zacijelo je bio golem. Jako nam je drago što nije umrla na licu mjesta! 

 Mužjak, koji je sjedio pored nje i u početku nije dao nikome da joj se približi, nije dobio ništa. Naši aktivisti za prava životinja nisu dugo oklijevali. 

Dakle, situacija je bila kritična u kojoj je bila Amy! Dali su joj tablete protiv bolova i pozvali je u svoj auto. Znali su da lokalni veterinar u ovom slučaju neće moći pomoći. Pa su je odvezli ravno do specijaliste, koji je ipak udaljen 3 sata! 

 Kada je stigla na mjesto, Amy je prvo primila infuzije jer je njezino opće stanje bilo jako loše. Krvne vrijednosti nisu bile nimalo dobre. Ali hrabra kuja dobro se borila. Infuzije su bile učinkovite i bilo je moguće provesti daljnja istraživanja. Napravljena je rendgenom i ultrazvukom. Takav udar često pukne mjehur. Ali srećom ništa nije slomljeno i mjehurić nije pukao! Tako sretan! 

 Naša Belma javila je da su svi odahnuli kada su na ultrazvuku otkrili mjehur i da je neoštećen. Puknut mokraćni mjehur zahtijevao bi hitnu operaciju, a šanse da će preživjeti bile bi vrlo male. Srećom, to je bila "samo" velika rana oko njezina oka. To je također zahtijevalo operaciju koju je veterinar izveo nakon što su joj se vrijednosti poboljšale. Ovo je ušiveno s nekoliko šavova. 

Nažalost, ni nakon operacije Amy ne može samostalno stajati. Nadamo se da je to samo šok koji je doživjela nesrećom i da će za nekoliko dana ponovno moći hodati. No do tada je treba redovito postavljati na noge kako joj mišići ne bi atrofirali!

Ažuriranje 04/11/2022: Amy je postala to u Zagrebu predstavljen specijalistima. Urađen je CT s kontrastnim sredstvom - ima disk herniju i potrebna je HITNA OPERACIJA!
