Amy Roses Court fines - Just Stop Oil

Hello hello, My names Amy Rose and recently been put under financial pressure due to being brought to court for environmental protesting to try and stop climate catastrophe worldwide. On the 19th of July the Uk reached 40 degrees for the first time ever making it the first ever red alert, risking danger to life, this is just the beginning. For the past few years I have been sacrificing my civil liberty and time to this cause and nothing is working. Im sick of people not being listened to, sick of the global north capitalising off the losses of global south countries and im sick of all the false promises. Summit after summit the uk government continue to make false promises and continue to block voices of people worst affected already by the effects of climate change worldwide. I cannot sit here and expect our doomed faith the government is fuelling. The constant hypocrisy shows by most mps will be the death of us if we don't start making drastic decisions now - meaning civil disobedience. We need to stop promoting the interests of the companies like shell bp ect, the companies that have brought us here in the first place. We need to listen to the voices of scientists and activists from around the world and work together to make real change. Despite how heartbreaking this can all be it empowers me knowing a different is being made by people taking to the streets and mobilising every to fight for a future for all.
